    My husband and I went into Mattress Firm because they had a 100% money back guarantee so we couldn't go wrong. Nothing at risk, right? WRONG!! We bought a mattress from Michael and confirmed a delivery date, however the mattress we bought had been discontinued and we had been upgraded to a new and improved mattress. It was so new, Michael didn't have one in the store to try and he could tell us nothing about it. He did know the mattress had a retail price $1000 more than the original. I thought it was peculiar that he knew the retail price was $1,000 more but couldn't tell me why. That morning we donated our mattress to Goodwill and awaited our new mattress. and waited…and waited…Finally, after waiting all day for the mattress we called the store. Lo and behold, Michael would not be in for two days but the salesperson said he would call us back. Again we waited… He didn't call. We called and he said we were mistaking about the delivery date and to call the warehouse. We called. The warehouse called us liars. They said they won't be able to deliver it for another five days. (Remember, I donated our bed and we had nothing to sleep on) We then spoke with the General Manager who explained the new mattress wasn't in stock and wouldn't be until the next week, but he would give us $300 off. Thinking this all over, while laying on my couch trying to sleep, I decided to bite the bullet and wait for the mattress but I wanted a receipt showing the accurate mattress and new discounted price. I called Michael and asked for a new receipt; he said he would send it by 1pm the following day. He sent me a copy of the original receipt. I canceled the order and received an obnoxious, sarcastic message in return. No one should have to go through this much frustration just to purchase an item; it's beyond outrageous! I regret letting it go this far before pulling the plug but I had misplaced hope that things would work out. By the way, I'm still sleeping on the couch!
